]project-open[ supports integration with the following translation memories:
Support for other versions and memories is available upon request.
]project-open[ is able to import wordcount files (".csv") fom the translation memories above and to extract their information. The table below shows a sample import: The "Sum Size" field represents the weighted sum of the 0%-100% matches using a "Tradox Matrix", defined for the specific customer.
The "Trados Matrix" defines how repetitions in the translated text are counted when creating purchase orders to freelancers or invoices to customers. The table below shows a sample Trados Matrix. 100% matches (repeated sentences in the text) are still invoiced with 30% of the nomial price, close matches (95%) with 50% etc.
| Trados Matrix | 0% Match |
50% Match |
75% Match |
95% Match |
100% Match |
| Weight | 100% | 100% | 90% | 50% | 30% |
Trados Matrices can be defined for each customer of provider. However, there is also a system wide "default" Trados matrix to cover customers and providers without a specific matrix.
The Translation Invoicing package is capable of generating POs and invoices from a trados import, according to the customers Trados matrix.
Wordcounts are also used during the assignation of tasks to translators in the Translation Workflow package. The table below shows a sample project consisting of 5 files that are going to be translated, edited and proofread by different translators. The assignment of tasks to translators is done based on the "Sum Size" weighted sum of 0%, 50%, 75%, 95% and 100% matches using the companys default Trados Matrix.
