Financial Reporting

There are several ways to extract information from ]project-open[:

1. Integrated Reporting

Every ]project-open[ module contains a number of pages that list the module's objects in a tabular way as part of the standard GUI (graphical user interface).

2. Reporting Engine

]project-open[ contains an add-on reporting module that is tightly integrated with the rest of the system. However, this module is released under a commercial OSS license.

3. MS-Excel Export

All financial data can be exported into the ".CSV" format readable by Microsoft Excel. After that process, you can use the full set of Excel tools to "massage" the information and extract suitable reports.

4. Export to Accounting Packages

We are currently preparing export interfaces into several popular accounting packages (KHK Kaufmann (Germany) and ContaPlus (Spain and Latin America)). More export interfaces are available on demand.

5. Data Warehouse using Mondrian or MS-SQL-Server

A third alternative is to access financial information using a data warehouse solution. For this purpose we are offering solutions using the open-source "Mondrian" data warehouse server or Microsoft's "OLAP Analsysis Services".
