Finance Project Hierarchy

The purpose of this report is to determine the profitability of the projects that end (end_date) in the time period between StartDate and End Date by showing the relationship between quotes and purchase orders (an approximation of the gross margin).  This selection is meant to provide a reasonable approximation for 'revenues in this period' if there are many small projects, as it is the case in translation agencies, which is the main difference between this report and the [Projects and their Financial Documents].  The ability to view financial document data for the main project, and sub-projects stemming form that main project lets the user pinpoint expected revenue minutely and within a shorter time period.  The report shows all financial documents for the selected projects, even if their creation and due dates are outside of the period between Start Date and End Date.
