Admin Portlet Components

This screen controls the display options for all "Components" found throughout ]project-open[.  Components are add-on displays that track information, usually time sensitive materials or continually updating and changing information.  Three component examples below,

One of the easiest ways to identify a component is finding the light gray bar that extends from the component title and activates its visibility by passing the mouse pointer close to the bar to display a few location GUI options, such as shifting the component to the left or right, or to close it completely.

The "Portlet Components" Admin Page displays a list of all possible system portlet components, but not if whether the portlet is currently active/enabled.  The components are grouped by package, each component and it's functionality being contained within this package.  Thusly, a component will not be available if its package has not yet been installed.

This screen also displays the current permission settings on each component and are set here as well.  If you would like to enable a particular component, click on it's name to edit and view the options available for this component.  The only way to create new components is by adding and modifying them through the source code.

Enable the portlet component and it will appear on the page of the URL listed.
