FI - Finance

The finance module is composed of several independent packages; each handling a different aspect of corporate financial management.  The philosophy of the module is based on a matrix structure, allowing costs to be classified either horizontally or vertically along the project life cycle. ­

Accounting Rules and Regulations differ from country to country, which is why ]project-open[ supports several different file format (see Integrated Software for details) that can be used in conjunction with ]project-open[ so that companies are able to comply with regional regulations.  For a more detailed investigation of the financial capabilities within ]project-open[ please follow the reference links at the bottom of this page, especially the various packages which constitute the Finance Module.
